Telecommunications on the “Roof of the World”
Smart, the Nepalese telecommunications provider, also invited us to prove, that regional pride can be communicated at world level. We “quoted” the high culture of this beautiful country, its unique shapes and colours, and linked them to the company's existing optical DNA. Buddhistreligious and secular symbols were visually “married” in the brand. Thus sun, Ensō or Yin and Yang can be discovered, as well as the distinctive flag of Nepal.
Yet the implementation fell short - metaphorically speaking - just below the summit of Mount Everest. The courageous rope team with Lars Reichelt deserves some publicity here, however.
